In this role you will be responsible for applying IT knowledge and expertise to help solving complex technical or professional activities. Responsible for the implementation/configuration of Manufacturing Execution System, in Business Line Digital for our Americas region, ensuring successful commissioning of systems.
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for system consulting services, conducting software product demonstrations, providing system start-up support, providing software support for customers, and developing new or modifying software product applications.
Your responsibilities
•Configuration of Production Management System
•Consult with customers to get the business process requirements
•Develop new and enhance the current MES software application
•Build and troubleshoot Shop Floor interfaces with PLC’s
•Provide Pre-sales support with setting and executing product demo
•On-Call support to existing customers
Your background
•Sound knowledge of Oracle Database, Oracle PL/SQL, SQL Server Database, MS SSRS Reports, .Net Framework and Crystal reports
•Pulp & Paper and Discrete Manufacturing knowledge is a plus
•Sound Knowledge of Application development and configuration
•Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Computer Science, Paper Science, or related field and 4+ years of related experience preferred.
•Proficiency in English. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
•Travel up to 20% maximum
