Description:

Test Planning and Design:

Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business analysts to understand project requirements and define test objectives and strategies.
Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional specifications and user stories.
Identify test data requirements and prepare test data accordingly.
Test Execution:

Execute functional and regression testing according to the defined test plans and test cases.
Perform manual testing to validate software functionality against requirements.
Identify, document, and track defects and issues discovered during testing using bug tracking tools.
Test Automation:

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks (e.g., IPSL).
Execute automated test cases and analyse results to identify defects and ensure test coverage.
Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with development teams to understand changes and coordinate testing efforts.
Communicate test results, progress, and issues to project stakeholders through regular status reports and meetings.
Participate in review meetings and provide feedback on system designs and specifications.
Quality Assurance:

Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the testing process.
Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and techniques in software testing and quality assurance.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
You should have:

Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.
Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Experience with both manual and automated testing.
Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., IPSL)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
It would be nice if you also had:

Experience with Perl or Python programming language and in test automation
Knowledge of telecommunication
Experience with software testing
Knowledge of Robot framework and GIT version control system
