This role involves responsibility for the design, integrity and quality of an IS (Information Systems) solution and of associated IS services delivered to business and support functions as well as IS Technology domains.
As SAP Technical Lead/Solution Architect, you will be responsible for technical delivery of SAP Projects for US (United States), CA (Canada) and Mexico using SAP best practices. With your technical expertise, you will build business applications and influence the design of features that improve the reliability of our applications and systems. You will define the scope of technical projects and oversee execution. You will also contribute experience with Cloud implementations, ABAP, Fiori/UI, Gateway.

Your responsibilities
Technical delivery and management of SAP Projects for US, CA and Mexico
Design approval and estimation for all projects requiring ABAP and technical integration
Develop strategy roadmap for projects involving upgrade, migration and implementations
Develop and deploy global solutions across all ABB geographies
Identify and resolve business process deficiencies with business transformation ideas using SAP best practices
Integrate third-party products into internal systems as well as support and upgrade implemented systems
Partner with internal teams to define and implement solutions that improve internal business processes
Work closely with analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Build internal solutions, with custom front end (web, mobile) and back end services that automate business processes
Maintain a high level of development practice including technical design, solution development, systems configuration, test documentation/execution, issue identification and resolution, modular, and self sustaining code
Your background
Bachelor’s degree with relevant work experience of minimum 10 years of technical expertise in ERP implementations is required
5 years of progressive SAP ABAP experience is a must with a minimum of 3 full lifecycle implementations
Extensive experience in integration using BAPIs, IDOCs, Web Services and other integration techniques
Working knowledge in S/4 HANA and Fiori is preferred
Experience with Solution Manager is preferred
Project management using different technics (Agile, Waterfall, Lean 6 Sigma) are preferred
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
