What You’ll Do

The HR Operations Specialist will focus on the day-to-day operations within the Human Resources function. This role will be responsible for a variety of administrative functions to support and assist our HR Operations team in all phases of the new employee experience at SSI

Location: Hybrid, working onsite at our San Jose, CA headquarters 3 days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of your time.

Manage the onboarding steps associated with transitioning candidates to new hires, including welcome emails, IT logistics, onboarding instructions, I-9s, etc. while partnering with key stakeholders.
Facilitating a great employee experience, including ensuring employees have relevant information in a timely manner, hosting for new hires’ first day, ensuring accurate employee records/documentation, I-9 compliance, etc.
Create and manage employee files and other applicable documentation to ensure compliance with federal and state laws
Maintenance of HR systems and tools to ensure accuracy of employee data
Manage employment verifications and related letters for employees as needed
Provide day-to-day support to employees and business partners, answering questions and making it easy to work at Samsung
Identify, create, and implement HR Ops processes to help scale and optimize
Build and maintain internal documentation of processes
Perform regular audits and follow up with employees to ensure that required documents are submitted and filed
Produce adhoc and Workday Reports
Collaborate with key partners and stakeholders on employee facing processes to build an outstanding employee experience: IT, Finance, Payroll, Recruiting, and Workplace experience.
What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
You are a problem solver, team player and multi-tasker
Proven ability to find creative solutions
Proven ability to organize, summarize, clarify, and communicate ideas simply, succinctly, and accurately
Attention to detail, highly organized and able to maintain confidential information
You focus on quality over speed, but are responsive and understand a sense of urgency
Strong Excel experience
HR Systems experience
Strong verbal and written communication
