This role is a key contributor to the Corporate Business Development team, which pursues global strategic inorganic initiatives, including M&A and corporate investments. This role is responsible for coordinating the assessment of external opportunities, supporting due diligence, developing financial analyses, participating in negotiations, and engaging key internal and external stakeholders. This position requires strategic thinking, strong business acumen, communication and influencing skills and an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will be strategically minded, team oriented, and analytically excellent.
How You'll Make an Impact:
Support Corporate Business Development leaders to deliver M&A and investment strategies in life sciences and clinical diagnostics.
Facilitate due diligence, owning data collection and partnering with cross-functional team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery of findings.
Build and maintain valuation, statistical and financial models that incorporate industry standard information sources, valuation methods, and relevant data.
Drive the internal decision-making process with the help from Corporate Business Development leaders.
Research new markets, industry trends, and competitors using a comprehensive and self-directed analytical approach.
Identify, screen and value M&A and investment opportunities.
Develop and maintain strong industry and competitive knowledge.
What You Bring:
Education: Bachelor's degree in scientific discipline. MBA preferred.
Work Experience: 4-5 years of work experience, ideally in investment banking, management consulting or the corporate finance/development/strategy division of a global company.
Patience and ability to excel under pressure, handling simultaneous projects with tight deadlines.
Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present and communicate to senior management effectively.
Solution-driven and flexible in their interpersonal style.
Entrepreneurial with a self-starter mentality.
Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Familiarity with Pitchbook or similar business intelligence platforms.
Location: Bio-Rad is pleased to offer the flexibility of hybrid work environment for this role, 3 days onsite, 2 days remote, working out of the Hercules, CA office.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $145,400 to $199,900 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.
