Cognizant is looking for an authority and highly motivated Sr. Data Scientist to join our Analytics team. You must have a validated background in data-driven problem solving and be able to develop and implement innovative solutions with little to no mentorship. If you are an analytics-minded professional with a passion for unlocking the potential of data, then this role is for you.
Location: Onsite Role in Bridgewater, NJ
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft and implement new features and improvements.
Data mining or extracting usable data from valuable data sources.
Using machine learning tools to select features, build and optimize classifiers.
Carrying out preprocessing of structured and unstructured data.
Improving data collection procedures to include all relevant information for developing analytic systems. Processing, cleansing, and validating the integrity of data to be used for analysis.
Analyzing large amounts of information to find patterns and solutions.
Developing prediction systems and machine learning algorithms.
Presenting results in a clear manner.
Repose solutions and strategies to tackle business challenges.
Collaborate with Business and IT teams
Technical Skills: Search Engine Optimization, Python, SAS, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Artificial Intelligence, OpenCV, Dialog-flow, Cloud AutoML, Machine Learning, ML Ops, Knowledge Graph, Airflow, EDA(Exploratory Data Analysis), Azure Open AI Service, Statistics, AI enabled chatbot, PyTorch
Domain Skills : Bioinformatics, Data Models
Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $[110,000 – 120,000 USD] depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
