DESCRIPTION
Looking for an opportunity to make a global impact? The International Expansions (IE) organization’s charter is to rapidly expand Amazon’s retail presence globally, partnering closely with compliance, category management, technology, and product teams to deliver the world’s largest selection to our international customers.

This position will act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the program on all matters related to export and import compliance. Key responsibilities include:
- Building products and processes that enable incremental selection for international customers, in compliance with Amazon's risk frameworks and external regulations
- Defining business objectives to drive improvements to compliance operations
- Advocating for supplier experience improvements on compliance related processes
- Own relevant aspects of business opportunity projections for 3-year and annual planning cycles, to be presented at the SVP level

A successful candidate in this position will have a passion for creating a world class shopping experience for our customers, demonstrated abilities working with cross functional teams, excellent business judgment, and experience in developing products in collaboration with technology and business teams.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience as a product manager or owner

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Working knowledge of SQL

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $110,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
