Job Description:
MGS Commercial’s Strategic Operations Buyer – Capital & Factory Services is responsible for in YNG/SON to create & maintain a lean end-to-end procedure and well implement the sourcing strategies for Capital investment and support the factory service category strategy execution. This role is responsible for identifying and delivering value chain optimization opportunities and deliver consistent commercial value to business, including maximizing value for money, leveraging external capability, protecting & optimizing supply chain, ensuring responsible supply.
What are we looking for?
Bachelor’s degree or above,
Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
At least 4 years of working experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a procurement related role.
Good analytical skills and ability to make sound business recommendations.
Ability to execute commercial and business strategies to gain a competitive advantage.
Good negotiating and interpersonal skill in order to be effective in both the internal and external environments.
Ability to influence across functions
What will be your key responsibilities?
Engage internal clients from SON and YNG sites, to fully follow commercial process in capital & factory services buying activities.
Provide market, operation and financial insights and inputs to the internal sourcing strategy process and implementing global/local MSSM locally.
Excellent execution on set sourcing strategy and input to the strategy during implementation
Ensures compliance with proper procedures, policies, systems and controls.
Assess and develop suppliers in order to meet business needs and opportunities.
Plan and lead commercial negotiations with suppliers to optimize price, quality, supply availability and payment terms. Employ new ways of working or commercial tools to improve buying performance (tender, bidding, e-auction, benchmarking) and improve suppliers management efficiencies.
Ensure effective risk management of the supply base, through robust contracts and monitoring of financial, resolving commercial issues and other KPI systems (SLA, CASH, SAVING, RESPONSIBLE SOURCING, Etc.)
Carries out supplier performance reviews on a regular basis for in scope categories. Manage and maintain relevant data and dashboard reporting. Ensure that robust and meaningful commercial metrics are implemented;
Deliver national initiatives in the local context – in particular the synergy cross segment and divisions.
Implement corrective actions as appropriate. Manage all related commercial, financial & ethical aspects of projects.
Participate in team knowledge transfer.
