In this role, you will engage with new product development teams and ensure they have global supply chain’s concerns recognized for sourcing. You will also review drawings and specifications ensuring they have the content needed for manufacturability. You will meet with potential suppliers ensuring they have the capability to manufacture the components at the proper quality level and at the volumes we require.
How You’ll Make An Impact:
Ensure components are properly specified.
Ensure Vendors have the capability to manufacture our components.
Ensure NPI procurement has engineering support during part procurement.
Guide New Product Development teams regarding component vendor choices and component specifications.
Ensure Bio-Rads purchase part qualification process is followed for critical components.
What You Bring:
Education: BS degree in Engineering or equivalent experience, advanced degree preferred
Work Experience: Minimum 5-7 years related experience in engineering and manufacturing of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs), metal components, and/or plastic injection molding.
APQP or PPQP experience
An expertise in at least one engineering discipline
A passion for excellence.
This position is eligible for a $5,000 HIRING BONUS: Offered for a limited time only. Applicable to specific positions as labeled. Recipients must be employed at the time of payout. Payout after 30 days of employment with Bio-Rad. Offered to direct hires only. Agency hires and internal transfers are not eligible. 12 months repayment clause.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $99,700 to $137,000 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
