job summary:
Supply Chain Director for a highly regarded Electrical manufacturing company based near St. Louis, MO. This position is responsible for the control and operations of the Supply Chain and Purchasing Department. To be considered - must have a Bachelor's degree with at least ten (10) years of procurement/supply chain management experience in a manufacturing environment.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Must have with at least ten (10) years of procurement/supply chain management experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of procurement practices of raw material, distribution, and manufacturing processes
Familiar with principles of transportation
Preferred:
Electrical and/or plastics experience
International purchasing experience
responsibilities:
Responsible for the control and operations of the Corporate Supply Chain and Purchasing Department
Develop policies, procedures, and objectives for the Company's supply chain
Leads internal business process reviews and recommends changes for improvements to increase internal productivity and process quality
Facilitates supplier selection and negotiates contracts for key strategic initiatives.
Reviews, analyzes, and recommends policies related to new contracts and agreements
