Managing networking configuration practices utilizing TCP/IP
2. Working on LAN and WAN switching components (LAN switches, Access Nodes, VLAN, STP).
3. Managing IP Networking Protocols (RIP, BGP, OSPF, ISIS).
4. Handling routing protocols like MPBGP, MPLS, PBR, ACL, VLAN, HSRP, VRRP, LACP, Ethernet.
5. Supporting MPLS Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks, LDP, RSVP, TE, VPLS etc.
6. Managing security operations, including firewall rules, intrusion detection and intrusion prevention, security policies, applying filters, etc
7. Working on Juniper (EX-4200, M120, M10i, M7i), Extreme (BD-8810,BD-8806, Alpine 3804, 3805, X450a-48tdc, Summit48si), Ericsson (SmartEdge). ), Huawei (NE40, Quidway), Alcatel Lucent (7750-SR12, 7750-SR7, 7705 SAR-18, 7210 SAS-E, 7210 SAS-M), Security products ( SRX 3600, SRX 5800, NetScreen 2000/ISG1000/SSG-520M, Huawei Eudemon), U2000.
8. Ability to verify & validate MPBN Network Faults. Hands-on experience in Software upgrade and updates.
9. Understanding of SS7 network, GPRS call flow, 3G call flow and RF network of GPRS.
10. Demonstrable project experience of taking the customer requirements and producing detailed network designs incorporating up-to-date technologies, and that require minimal operational support.
11. Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, including business writing and high quality technical documentation skills.
12. Good understanding of Telecom traffic flow.
