Are you an innovative leader with demonstrated experience in the recruiting field? Do you have a history of leading by example and supporting a mission? Our client is an international trade association in the research life sciences field hiring a Director of Talent Acquisition. This individual will lead the talent acquisition function and oversee the expanding department. The ideal person has 8-10 years of experience in full-cycle talent acquisition and is a critical thinker, proactive, and creative. This individual will lead the recruitment function and process creation and improvement, partner with executives and handle all executive searches, supporting retention and DEI efforts, and more. There will be high autonomy in this role, partnering with the Chief People Officer and DEI HR Business Partner. This role is a hybrid position, 3 days onsite at the DC headquarters.
Responsibilities
Provide professional expertise and support in the design, development, and implementation of the talent review process
Collect, analyze, and maintain data gathered to inform targeted leadership development (DEI, succession planning, ATS statistics, job board success, etc.)
Serve as lead business partner with hiring managers to develop effective strategy
Initiate and maintain effective programs for workforce retention
Partner with DEI Business Partner on strategy and execution
Executive recruitment search, partner with executives
Manage full life cycle recruitment process utilizing ADP
Conduct kickoffs, touchpoints, and status updates for high-touch searches
Conduct all initial round interviews, present benefits and establish process expectations
Salary and bonus negotiations
Manage Talent Acquisition budget to include vendor partnerships
