We are seeking a stellar technical program manager to join the Global Service Compliance (GSC) team supporting Amazon’s Project Kuiper. Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.
Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Key job responsibilities
This role will be responsible for leading Controllership design and implementation and related support system development. As a Technical Program Manager for Kuiper GSC, you will serve as a subject matter expert to identify and design control and monitoring techniques demonstrating Kuiper’s compliance with its global ISP obligations.
You will collaborate with Kuiper engineering (software and networking) teams to implement and modify relevant systems to manage performance testing. You will lead large-scope technical operations projects, including implementing critical business initiatives across multiple stakeholders and evaluate process metrics and key performance indicators to identify improvement initiatives

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 2+ years of software development experience
- 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $197,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
