Cloud Infrastructure Services: Technology Solutions and Business Development Enablement

We are seeking a consultative problem-solver and thought leader to drive Solutions within our Cloud Infrastructure Services business.

We are looking for deep expertise in Cloud Infrastructure Services, who will be tasked with identifying and qualifying opportunities, creating technology solutions and blueprints, and thereby driving revenue growth in this space.

You should have consulting experience with global technology delivery, market leadership, relationship management, sales quota achievement, and excellence in achieving both annual revenue and margin targets. You must be a deep subject matter expert in the technology and business models employed by our clients, and demonstrate the ROI in Cognizant's solutions and services.

You will support growth in a portfolio of accounts, and across an industry vertical for revenue growth, new business identification and conversion, establish and lead relationship with client collaborators, and run financial and demand forecasts for your portfolio. This is a true P&L role – responsible for revenue growth in data and analytics.

From networking to data-center consolidation and hybrid cloud implementations, Cognizant encompasses a complete “cloud-smart” strategy. An agile IT infrastructure enables our clients to scale and adapt to changing needs within a secure hybrid or pure cloud platform.

You will be responsible for the following:

· Crafting growth strategy and plan for pipeline generation for Cloud and Infrastructure Services offerings

· Key client and cognizant collaborator management in Cloud and Infrastructure Services across multiple industries, with an initial focus on Life Sciences.

· Management of the account plan under the guidance of the client partner, investing time in strengthening existing client relationships and strategic new clients

· Work with Delivery Teams to validate cost and scope of solutions.

· Leading Proactive proposals and RFP in line to account strategy

· Partners with internal leaders for solution creation and execution.

· Responsible for Sales, Business Development & Customer Relationship

· Achieve annual revenue & total contract value targets.

· Work in a matrix organization, responsible for prospecting and other sales management goals designed.

· Collaboration with industry vertical teams, develop strong, long-term relationships with executives.

· Manage the end-to-end sales process.

Basic Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent

· Solid experience in a business growth role in consulting and services in the Cloud Infrastructure sector.

· Several major initiatives in the Life Sciences sector.

· Experience selling large, enterprise deals of 5 million +

· Experience working and matrix managing client account teams, technology and industry SME's, and sales operations stakeholders.

· Excellent ability and skills to influence and communicate optimally with business collaborators up to the C-Suite.

· Ability to appreciate and work on 360-degree aspects around a data and insights life cycle across the business value chain

· Strong technical skills with the ability to identify and formulate technical solutions to business problems.

· Engage with the customer as a “trusted advisor” in promoting the value of our services. Experience with “consultative selling” is essential.

· Ability to interface at all levels of an organization.

· Consultative selling experience is a must, preferably from a "Big 8" consulting ecosystem with global delivery.

· Deep expertise in Cloud Infrastructure Services.

Strongly Desired Qualifications:

· Master's Degree in Computer Engineering or similar

· Experience as a Solution Architect, Sales, or Pre-Sales Systems Engineer

· Deep expertise in Hyperscalers, Data Center Transformation, End-User Computing

Benefits and Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $185,000 – 190,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
