Adecco Search is seeking qualified Trailer Mechanics for a national client we’ve partnered with.

As a Trailer Mechanic, your typical day would include:
Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing all equipment as indicated on repair orders and consistent with repair standards.
Performing safety and legally required inspections (FHWA/BIT).
Maintaining parts and yard organization (with direction from operations management) to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
At the direction of the Branch Operations Manager, provide excellent service which meets and/or exceeds customer’s expectations regarding quality and consistency of service provided.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma (or GED Equivalent) Preferred
In accordance with the FMCSA Inspector Qualification Requirements, knowledge of the inspection standards of Part 393 and Appendix G, and the ability to identify defective components; and have knowledge and proficiency in methods, procedures, and tools.
At least 12 months’ trailer repair experience to complete FHWA inspections and brake related repairs; or specialized training via an apprenticeship and/or trade school (exception may be made for branches with more than one mechanic)
Must possess own tools in accordance with tool sheet
Must possess current/legal driver’s license
