About the role
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supervising operational and trades staff in the delivery of operations and preventive and corrective maintenance for various building systems. In addition to supervisory responsibilities, the Maintenance Supervisor must perform maintenance activities in a lead-hand role.
Schedule Monday-Friday - 6 AM to 3 PM
Overtime Afterhours as needed
What you’ll do
• Supervise CBRE Technicians in delivering preventive maintenance programs, day-to-day operations, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Coordinate sub-contractors in the delivery of preventive maintenance programs, day-to-day operations, corrective maintenance activities, and repair and minor capital projects
• Document activities related to building operations and maintenance, providing input to the Facility Manager(s) with respect to building conditions, project planning, budget planning, and forecasting
• Ensure compliance with corporate and legislated policies, procedures, practices and
• guidelines related to environment, health and safety, and fire protection
• Liaison with Client, representing CBRE to enhance tenant and customer satisfaction and maintain positive relations
• Administer the quality assurance program and ensure delivery of the services meet or exceed the requirements as set out in the contract and align with internal CBRE policies and standard operating procedures
What you’ll need
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Three (3) to five (5) years of construction/building maintenance/operations experience
• In-depth knowledge of commercial building systems
• Proven track record to effectively manage people: schedule and assign duties, monitor and evaluate performance, supervise day-to-day operations
• Knowledge of Environment, Health & Safety issues
• Excellent interpersonal and customer-focused solid skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask several projects, including competing deadlines
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to mitigate and manage project risks
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
• Ability to influence, persuade and negotiate to achieve desired outcomes
• Must be able to develop and maintain relationships with all project partners
• Good solid understanding of industry-standard methodologies as well as the ability to continuously innovate to optimize project delivery and deliver value to the client

The pay range for this position is subject to an applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement.
The negotiated rate for the Union Maintenance Supervisor position is $84,000 annually or $40.38 per hour.
