Citi’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function is responsible to align and oversee risk management across the organization and own execution of enterprise program. ERM operating model ensures consistent identification, measurement, monitoring, control and reporting of risk across individual risk categories and in aggregate. Risk Taxonomy team within Risk ID pillar is responsible for design and execution of the ERM operating model and engagement across Business and 2nd line functions to drive effective execution of Citi’s Risk Taxonomy as aligned to the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
The individual will actively support and contribute towards stakeholders’ engagement across lines of defense and monitor progress through execution of ERM operating model.
Responsibilities:
Assist in ongoing communication of ERM Operating Model with business, risk and other internal stakeholders
Engage ERM leadership to understand updates to individual enterprise program frameworks and incorporate appropriate revisions to ERM Operating Model
Monitor updates, progress and challenges associated with execution goals
Gain strong understanding of Citi’s regulatory commitments and internal risk management frameworks to ensure alignment to Risk Taxonomy operating model
Develop presentations for senior management, executive Committees and regulatory discussions
Deliver specific ad-hoc analysis and tactical support in preparation for business and management meetings
Contribute towards a larger goal of a fully integrated enterprise risk management framework
Identify opportunities to add value beyond the scope of ERM Risk Taxonomy implementation
Establish and leverage cross-functional partnerships and network with key internal stakeholders
Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in financial services
Prior Enterprise Risk Management or Consulting experience
Understanding banking and risk management
Demonstrated ability to synthesize information and drive results with a sense of urgency
Possess excellent written and verbal communication, and presentation skills
Problem solving skills, sound business judgment, and demonstrate result orientedness
Collaborative work style; effectively interacts with partners across organizational boundaries/hierarchies
Displays a leadership presence; commands respect and will earn trust of senior leaders
Good understanding of banking products and risk environment
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree in Finance, Economics or another quantitative discipline
