Description:

The Vice President is a key role in Citi’s Internal Consulting organization.

The major roles of the internal consulting organization are to lead significant programs in partnership with Citi’s functional and business unit leadership; to develop Citi’s approaches and methods; to build change capabilities across Citi; and to engage Citi employees at all levels in transformational change.

The Vice President will be a key member of the team, supporting specific Citi operating model and business process improvement projects and programs across the Firm. Projects will vary in size, duration, and complexity; will have significant and measurable business value outcomes; and will be highly visible with executive-level sponsorship.

The Vice President will report directly to a senior leader within the Internal Consulting organization but also to engagement manager(s) who lead the day-to-day of ongoing projects via a matrix management structure.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Drive the analysis of complex sets of data and business processes with limited guidance
Independently think through and analyze solutions to problems and develop initial hypotheses, frameworks, and methodologies
Support all phases of projects and drive project execution and delivery
Own the initial preparation of communications for project sponsors and senior stakeholders regarding hypotheses, analyses, and project outcomes
Support creation of project communications to drive engagement of key stakeholders and adoption of recommendations and solutions
Work with colleagues to continuously develop re-usable intellectual capital and contribute relevant content to the team’s knowledgebase
Show initiative in performing research and obtaining data

Has strong project management skills but deploys a flexible approach to meet the needs of a broad group of diverse stakeholders

Basic Qualifications:

At least 5 experience in a major management consulting firm, or equivalent experience in a large Financial Services company
Bachelors Degree
Preferred Qualifications:

Masters Degree
Experience leading and supporting Business Transformation projects for large, complex organizations in the financial services industry
Familiarity with Agile, DMAIC, and Lean Methodologies
