Residential and Commercial Fence company in search for someone to help supervise their team. This is an opportunity to join a well trusted business in the Canton Area. This is a full time opprotunity, offering a solid 40 hours a week, with overtime hours available. Responsibilities
Supervisor Duties and Responsibilites
Administer all work yard operations and ensure compliance to safety policies.
Trains all yard/material handling employees.
Oversees the daily workflow and scheduling.
Coordinate with other departments and investigate accidents and identify root cause of damage and or accident.
Conducts timely and constructive feedback.
Maintains inventory, which includes keeping records in an inventory management system, acquiring additional stock as required, and distributing items from stock to fulfill requisitions.
Ensures safe operation of equipment used to move and transport materials to and from the storage areas of the facility.
Organizes and coordinates activities and staff schedules, ensuring fulfillment goals are met and that shipments are timely, accurate, and undamaged.
Collaborates with managers and other departments to develop and modify materials handling processes and procedures.
Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on equipment and prepare report to submit to manager.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
The essential functions of this role include:
wearing steel toe shoes
manual lifting up to 95lbs
working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
